If you suffer from: asthma or heart trouble, diabetes or kidney disease or are aged 65 or over, you can have a vaccination which will offer a high level of protection from flu and its complications. Make an appointment with your doctor for vaccination if you suffer from any of these conditions.


What if you have flu ?

Most people actually have a heavy cold and this should go away after 5-7 days.

It's best to take to bed and rest. Drink loads of water and if you can take an aspirin or paracetamol to ease away aches.

The flu virus strain may be different each year, so you will need to have an annual vaccination.
