Guide to London

Welcome to London

London is such a vibrant place to be and there is so much history and things to do you'll need to ensure you have plenty of time to see everything. London is easy to get to either by flying into one of its airports (Heathrow or Gatwick are closest) or via the channel tunnel. Using London as a base you can explore other parts of the surrounding area, such as Windsor.

Getting around in London

London has the oldest metro or "tube" service in the world. It is vast and easy to use. All major attractions are a stone throw away from a tube station. You're best bet is to buy a one day travelcard that will enable you to travel the entire network on one ticket. Travel after 9.30am and it's much cheaper.
