Ways to travel as a student

You'll want to travel in between terms and years and our student travel section is just for you.

As a student you should travel far and wide. Where would you like to travel to?. Europe is easy but expensive. Australia is cheap and there are good deals around.

Be safe on your travels

Easier said than done but do plan ahead. Ensure you take money, credit/ debit card, passport, tickets, mobile phone (don't forget USA has a different network from the rest of the World !). Tell people where you are staying and stay in touch by email in internet cafes. Read the advice below.

Travel Insurance

You never know what may go wrong so ensure you have some travel insurance and buy it in plenty of time. Keep the emergency number and your policy number in a safe place (perhaps key it into your mobile phone).

Ensure you travel ready prepared. Take all the things you need. Ensure your passport is up to date, you have any vacinations, take your own medication if you are on any and leave contact details with people back in the UK on where you are going.
